Which Bivvy: Initial Thoughts
I love the blend of camo and green fabric, and it looks a fair size once I had the bivvy set up on the bank, and you could easily fit a wide bedchair or even accommodate an extra angler if you used two standard bedchairs! The front door section looks well sealed, and the full zipped door is preferred.
Walking around the bivvy, you’ll find two fairly large mozzy mesh vents – great for the summer to keep those pests out and aids ventilation in the hope that condensation is kept to a minimum.

There are three ribs; one rear, one central and a top rib that runs along the high front peak of the bivvy. Worth mentioning (although I didn’t use either) that there is an overwrap and front extension available if you want to add further protection for winter, or simply extend the space for storing more tackle.
Multiple pegging points allow you to set out and secure the bivvy as you wish – could come in handy on uneven banks!
It was fairly easy to pack down too – with the inclusion of a more than large enough zipped carry bag (that zips fully down the length)
My initial thoughts on the Wychwood Tactical Bivvy are positive so far, but let’s dive into some of the key features in our full review below.
